Second RBS Six Nations Victory for The Blues

Murrayfield was in raptures on Sunday as Scotland retained their Six Nations title hopes, thanks to a narrow 12-8 victory against Ireland.

Perhaps not the most nail-biting Championship clash of all time, Sunday's match marked the first time in twelve years that Scotland has won back-to-back Six Nations matches. Following a slow first half, the Scots managed to wangle 12 unanswered points past the Irish team. As scrum-half Greig Laidlaw led his team to an unlikely victory, Ireland's hopes of winning the Six Nations title faded fast.

Scotland vs. Ireland at Murrayfield

Richie Gray for Scotland

With a big weekend of sport ahead, Scotland's 6 Nations fixture against Ireland at Murrayfield is set to be one of the highlights.

Following an impressive 34-10 victory against Italy on Saturday 9th February, Scotland is looking ahead to their next challenge this Sunday 24th February: a home game against old foes Ireland. Murrayfield will undoubtedly come alive as Scotland seek to overhaul their old adversaries. After their lacklustre efforts last year, Scotland are hoping to pull the cat out of the bag in 2013.
